What is a doula?
A doula is a non-medical trained person that provides evidence based information and resources, emotional and physical support to a birthing person before, during and just after childbirth, even if you have a scheduled C-section, a doula can provide birth support.

During your free consultation, we will discuss:

Two Prenatal Meetings
First Meeting (2-hours minimum)
We will discuss the following, but not limited to:

Compose a birth plan

Meet your birth support person and discuss their expectations

Pain management

Chest/breast or bottle feeding

Childbirth/infant feeding class

Community resources
-
Early labor
-
Induction

Car seat installation

Second Meeting (1-hour minimum)

I will provide continuous support during active labor and delivery for birthing person and partner
Two Postpartum Meetings
(1-hour minimum each)

Consultation and Meetings
I am a trained doula working on my certification, so my fees are negotiable if you do not have insurance or your insurance does not cover doula support. I am a Medicaid provider. My hope is that every birthing person feels informed and empowered on their birthing journey, so please do not hesitate to contact me so we can discuss fees and payment options.
